Functional and Elegant Blue and White Kitchen Update
The Brief
Renovate a dated and unpractical kitchen into a functional and stylish space. The cooking side of the space remains on the north facing side. The southern side of the kitchen becomes a bar area with a state-of-the-art coffee machine, glassware display, and wine and beverage fridges. The center of the room functions as a breakfast nook with a marble bistro table.
the Design
Transformed the space with a blue and white color scheme - walls painted blue with white molding.
Installed a new fleur-de-lis pattern tile backsplash.
Replaced cabinet doors with flat high-gloss white doors for easy cleaning and a modern, sleek design.
Added cabinets and wine and beverage fridges, while converting north side of kitchen to a bar area.
Added a cozy bistro table to the center of the room for a breakfast, coffee break.
Decorative shelves for cookbooks.
New quartz countertop with a gray-blue marble pattern.
